Upgrade Coding Definition dialog box
This page is used for impact analysis.
Use the Upgrade Coding Definition dialog box to create a new coding definition by upgrading an existing one. The Central Coding application displays the data for the selected coding definition in the Original column.
The help for this page includes descriptions for core fields, actions, and buttons only.

Dictionary Version |
The dictionary version to associate with the new coding definition. You can upgrade only to a new dictionary version of the same type and culture. |

The synonym list to associate with the new coding definition. |
Update assignment rules with new coding definition |
Reassigns the assignment rules for the original coding definition to the new coding definition. |
Copy assignment rules and use new coding definition |
Copies the assignment rules for the original coding definition to the new coding definition. The original assignment rules continue to assign requests to the original coding definition. |
No changes to assignment rules |
Continues to assign requests to the original coding definition. You must create and use new assignment rules for the new coding definition. |
