Operating system and hardware as specified by the Oracle 12c database software.

Supported Windows platforms:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.

  Supported Unix platforms:

• Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.x release 6.5 or higher.
• Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.

Database

Oracle Enterprise Edition Database Server 12.1.0.2, with or without Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

Note: You must register the .NET assemblies to the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) after the initial installation, and each time you apply a patch. For more information, see the Installation Guide.

Mandatory database components:

• Oracle Text.
• Oracle Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
• Oracle XML DB.

Processor

Four or more 3.3 GHz Intel Xeon class or higher processor cores.

Memory

4 CPU, 24 GB RAM or more

Disk space

In addition to the space required for the Oracle database software installation:

• Approximately 100 MB tablespace for installation, plus additional space as required to accommodate the database.

Connectivity

100/1000 NIC.

Display

No requirements.

CD drive

Required only if you need a CD drive to install Oracle Server.
