What should I do if an error occurs during the server installation?

Errors during server installation can be caused by several issues, including issues with the database user name and with the installation of the Oracledatabase software.

To troubleshoot:
  • Read the installer.log file. The installer.log file contains information about the installation, including any errors that occurred. The default location of the file on the application server computer is C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle Health Sciences\Central Designer.
  • If the application server and database server are on the same computer, you must install the Oracle Server software and Oracle Client software in the same home, or the Oracle Central Designer server installation will not work.
