What rules or edit checks should be on the lab eCRF?

• Add an edit check for Out of Range or Invalid lab values if you want these values to be validated, as they won't be automatically queried in LNMT.
• Use form calculations to normalize the lab result, unit, LLN, and ULN, and create a grade by populating a new item. Avoid using Oracle InForm normalization for lab results as the conversions are often analyze-specific.
• Select Run Rules under the LNMT-Import tab application configuration to enable rule enforcement based on LNMT-populated items. Remember to deselect Form Comment under pre-processors so that comments on the form do not interfere with analyze returns.
