Role - New Role Wizard
The New Role Wizard enables you to add a new security role.
Use this page to:
Create a new role
- In the Role name field, type the name of the role.
- In the Role description field, type a description of the role.
- Click Finish.
CIS Administration displays the New Role page with the name and description you entered and adds the role to the Roles tab of the Security Administration page. The New Role page includes the Edit Current Role and Create New Role buttons so that you can edit the role you just created or create another role.
Edit the role you just created
- After creating a role by completing the New Role wizard, on the New Role page, click Edit Current Role.
The Profile tab of the Edit Role page appears, displaying the role you just created.
- In the Role description field, update the description of the role.
- Click Save.
Create additional new roles
- After creating a role by completing the New Role wizard, on the New Role page, click Create New Role.
The New Role wizard page appears.
- In the Role name field, type the name of the role.
- In the Role description field, type a description of the role.
- Click Finish.
