User Roles
The Roles tab of the Edit User page enables you to create or modify the associations between the current user and the domains and roles in which the user participates. The Roles tab has two views:
- The View Current Roles view displays the domains and roles that are currently assigned to the user.

Display the Modify Roles view

Navigate through the pages of the list of roles
The controls at the bottom of the page enable you to navigate through the pages in the display.
To navigate through the pages in a multiple-page display:
- To move to the first page, click the single left-pointing arrow.
- To move to the previous page, click the double left-pointing arrow.
- To view all rows of the table on a page that scrolls, click View All.
- To move to the next page, click the double right-pointing arrow.
- To move to the last page, click the single right-pointing arrow.
- To move to a specific page, select the page number from the drop-down list.
- The Modify Roles view enables you to create or modify the associations between the user and the user's domains and roles.
Use this page to:
Filter the list of roles by domain
Display the View Current Roles view
Grant roles to the user
- In the Granted column, select the checkbox for each role you want to associate with the user.
- Click Save.
CIS Administration associates the user with each role you selected, and the user acquires the rights assigned to each role.
Change the role associations for the user
- In the Granted column:
- Select the checkbox for each additional role you want to associate with the user.
- Deselect the checkbox for each role you want to remove from the user.
- Click Save.
CIS Administration updates the role assignments for the user.
