Synchronization Connection Wizard - Schedule
The Synchronization Connection Wizard - Schedule page enables you to select or define a synchronization schedule for a synchronization connection.

The synchronization connection does not use a schedule.
Note: If you do not define a schedule, you must manually run synchronization on the synchronization connection. For more information, see Starting synchronization manually.

Named
|
The synchronization connection uses the schedule selected from the drop-down list.

Custom
|
The synchronization connection uses the custom schedule defined in the Days, Start time (UTC), End Time (UTC), and Run every fields.

Days
|
Days of the week to which the custom schedule applies. Select each day on which to run synchronization.

Start time (UTC)
|
Time for synchronization to begin running. Specify the time in hours and minutes.
|
End time (UTC)
|
Time for synchronization to stop. Specify the time in hours and minutes.
|
Run every
|
Interval on which to start synchronization within the specified Start time (UTC) and End time (UTC). For example, if you have a Start Time of 1:00 and an interval of 5 Minutes, the scheduled synchronization begins at 1:00, 1:05, 1:10, and so on.
Type a number, and select Hours or Minutes.

Use this page to:
Specify that the synchronization connection is not associated with a schedule
If a synchronization connection is not associated with a schedule, you must start each synchronization manually.
To specify that a synchronization connection uses no schedule:
- In the Schedule type field, click None.
Select a named schedule for the synchronization connection
If you associate a named schedule with a synchronization connection, the synchronization starts at the interval specified in the named schedule.
To select a named schedule for a synchronization connection:
- In the Schedule type field, click Named.
- Select a named schedule from the drop-down list, and click Next.
Define a custom schedule for the synchronization connection
- In the Schedule type field, click Custom.
- Complete the fields on the page, and click Next.
Navigate through the Synchronization Connection Wizard pages
The controls on each Synchronization Connection Wizard page enable you to navigate through the wizard:
- To move to the next page, click Next.
- To move to the previous page, click Previous.
- To move to a previous page, click the link for that page.
