Modifying metadata in an existing hybrid study

After a study has been installed in an InForm database, you can modify metadata objects in an existing hybrid study. Changes to the metadata must be reflected in both the InForm database and the Clintrial protocol with which it is integrated. If you modify metadata objects, make sure that the Clintrial mappings remain valid.

Caution: Avoid modifying mappings that are to be used with an existing Clintrial protocol, such as in a hybrid study. If you must modify these mappings, avoid creating conflicts, such as incompatible item data types.
