Clintrial data record structure

In Clintrial data records, clinical data is categorized to associate subjects (patients) with blocks (visits), blocks (visits) with page templates (forms), page templates (forms) with page sections (sections) and page sections (sections) with items (items). The Clintrial software uses context items and system items to perform this categorization and to uniquely identify clinical data records. In addition, the context and system items, alone or in combination with other Clintrial study object parameters, associate data items with Clintrial metadata objects and aid in the definition of default data mappings.
