Data transfer
The CIS software transfers data between an InForm database and a Clintrial database. Transfer of entered data is one-way only from an InForm study to a Clintrial protocol. Certain query information, however, is exchanged in both directions between the two databases.
The following data is transferred from an InForm database to a Clintrial database:
- Study metadata.
- CIS mapping information.
- Clinical data.
- Query information.
- Site and user data for audit recording.
- Audit information.
The following types of data are not transferred to a Clintrial protocol:
- Form and Case Report Book states (frozen, locked, or SV ready).
- Signature records.
- Visit and form entry metrics.
- Administrative data (other than for audit records).
- Source verification information.
