Effect of rule location
A rule in an integrated study can reside in the InForm database, in the Clintrial database, or in both. Where the rule resides determines when the resulting query message is displayed:
- Queries produced by rules triggered in the InForm database are immediately visible to the InForm user.
Query messages produced by rules that are triggered in the Clintrial database appear in the InForm software after synchronization.
