Refresh a device's access code and password

Devices with a device-to-cloud connection come with an initial access code and password that may not work or expire at some point. If that happens, you can always refresh them and activate your device.

  1. On the Home page, determine where to work. For more information, see Access study modes and pages.
  2. Along the top, make sure Subjects is selected.
  3. Filter your view based on several criteria. For more information, see Filter subjects in a study.
  4. In the table, locate the subject whose dispensed device kit types you want to update.
  5. Select the checkbox to the left of the subject.
  6. On the right, below Subject History, click the menu button (Menu icon) for the device that you want to manage.
  7. From the drop-down menu, select Refresh Access Code.
  8. In the Refresh Device Code pop-up, click Refresh.
