Retire a study role
Study roles can never be completely removed, but they can be retired. If a study role is no longer of use in your study, you can always retire it. Users who have previously been assigned the now retired study role will not lose their permissions. Retired study roles are simply made unavailable for new use.
This task can be performed by both a global user manager and a user
administrator. You can retire a study role anytime you want, except for when it's a
predefined read-only study role provided by Oracle.
