How do I close the discrepancies that were created by a validation check I disabled?

In situations where you've disabled a validation check that has already created discrepancies, you can close them by selecting the Execute Disabled VCs to close discrepancies option on the Submit Validation Check dialog box when you run a validation check batch.

Note:

This option is only available for Validation Check batches you submit immediately. You cannot use this option for scheduled batches or deferred submission types.

When you select this option, you run the validation check batch only on the disabled validation checks to close the associated discrepancies, regardless of their auto-close status. This means that the enabled validation checks are not included and no new discrepancies will be created.

Discrepancies closed in this way are automatically tagged as VCDisabled, in case you need to search for them later in the discrepancies interface.
