Cancel a background processing job for a report

The Cancel action menu command is available for In Queue or Running case series or report outputs in your background processing queue. You can cancel these jobs at any time from the Report Outputs page, depending on the job type you submitted. You cannot cancel jobs when hovering your mouse over the Background Processing indicator.

If you are a superuser, you can:

• Cancel jobs that you submitted.
• Cancel jobs that other users submitted.
• Cancel other users' jobs on the Report Outputs page.

To cancel a report background processing job:

1. In the left navigation pane, hover on the Data Analysis icon (), then click Report Outputs.
2. Click Report Outputs.
3. Locate the report output for which you submitted a background processing job. The status in the Status column is Running. If you are a superuser, you can locate the report output that another user submitted.
4. If necessary, mouse over to the Background Processing indicator located next to your username at the top of the page to obtain the report output name from your job queue.
5. Click the report output's Row Action menu (), and click Cancel.

Oracle Empirica Signal cancels the job and sets the report output status to Cancelled.
