About importing a topic workflow configuration

You can import a previously exported topic workflow configuration using the Import Workflow Configuration File link on the Manage Topic Workflow Configuration page. You can import topic workflow configurations that were exported from Topic schema versions 1 or 1.1. The imported topic workflow configuration will have Topic schema version 1.1.

To import the topic workflow configuration, you must have the Manage Topic Workflow Configurations permission. During the import, you can name and describe the topic workflow configuration.

The imported topic workflow configuration contains the following information from the exported configuration:

• Topic schema version
• Export format version
• Exported timestamp
• Exported user information

Note:

Fields with a work team context are not included in the export and import of topic workflow configurations. Therefore, Topic Field Modified and Action Field Modified email notification rules that reference fields with a work team context are not included. Topic templates that contain populated topic or action fields with a work team context are also not included. If these exist in the original topic workflow configuration, they must be added to the imported topic workflow configuration.
