Manage topic states

You can view or edit topic states. Specifying topic states in the topic workflow configuration applies a workflow for processing topics. Each topic state may include the next state or state that may be assigned.

  To create a structured workflow for processing topics, define the states that a topic goes through.
• Manage Topic States page
  On the Manage Topic States page, you can view the defined topic states, add states, and edit or delete states.
• View a topic state
  You can view each topic state to process topics through the workflow. Each topic state may define subsequent states that can be assigned to the topic.
• Add a topic state
  When you add a topic state, you can define its workflow state transitions: the path used to move a topic from one state to another in the workflow.
• Edit a topic state
  You can edit the name, description, and possible next states for a topic state, as well as specify possible next states that require approval.
• Delete a topic state
  You can delete topic states; however, you cannot delete the Init state and topic states in use.
