Publish a signal configuration

Publishing the signal configuration makes it available to other users. By default, the publication level of every newly created object is Private.

Note:

Unless you have the Administer Users permission, you can only publish objects you have created. With the Administer Users permission, you can also publish objects created by any users in your login group.
  1. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon (Settings icon).
  2. In the Configure System section, click Manage Signal Configurations.
  3. Click the configuration's Row Action menu (Row Action menu icon), then click Publish.

The Publish Signal Configuration window appears and displays the publication level.

    Note:

If no publication status appears, the object has been published by a superuser.
  4. In the Publish to Login Groups list, select the login group to which you intend to publish. If you are a superuser, you can publish an object to multiple login groups. Ctrl+click to select multiple login groups from the list.

If you publish to –All–, the object is automatically published to any new login groups you add later.

  5. Click Publish.

The object is published to all the users who are in your login group.

  6. Close the Publish Signal Configuration window to return to the Manage Signal Configurations page.
