Documentation changes

In this release, the following changes were made to documentation:

Documentation is available on the Oracle Help Center

Oracle Life Sciences IAMS documentation will be available as follows:

• A new, rich page is available on the Oracle Help Center (docs.oracle.com) for Oracle Life Sciences IAMS at

  https://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/health-sciences/ohs-iams/index.html

  The page includes several tabs, accessible from the pane on the left:

  • Get Started (default): Contains quick links for information about the current release and for quick access to commonly used instructions.
  • Videos: Displays Oracle Life Sciences IAMS videos, including new videos for Oracle Health Bookmarks, and others.
  • Books: Lists all documentation for the current Oracle Life Sciences IAMS release, including links to My Oracle Support for the Known Issues document.

    Note:

    Documents are updated for a new release only when necessary; any documents that were last updated for an earlier release still apply.
• The Known Issues document will continue to be available for authenticated users only on My Oracle Support. This document is available at document ID 2020737.1 and updated versions will continue to be posted to this ID.
• The My Oracle Support IDs for other Oracle Life Sciences IAMS documentation are retired because the documents are available on the Oracle Help Center.

Accessible HTML format

All Oracle Life Sciences IAMS documentation is now also available in accessible HTML format.

Terminology changes

The following terms have changed:

• Oracle Life Sciences IAMS: Documentation now abbreviates the product name to Oracle Life Sciences IAMS to avoid confusion with Oracle Bare Metal Cloud Identity and Access Management Services.

• Oracle Identity Manager Self-Service Console: Documentation now refers to this interface as Oracle Life Sciences IAMS Identity Self Service console to better align with the interface and to clarify that this is a version of the base product, Oracle Identity Manager Self Service, that is customized for Oracle Life Sciences IAMS.
