Reset account password and retrieve user login

If you opted to use the new way of resetting the account password, when a user clicks on Trouble Signing In on the Sign In page, the user receives an email containing a link to reset the password. Previously, a system-generated clear text password was sent to the user in an email. There is no limit for the user to trigger the password email containing a link to reset the password.

The email templates will change if you are using the new process to reset your account password.

To reset the password using the security questions, users have to remember the answers for the security questions set by them. But with the introduction of the new process, users can set a password by clicking the link in the email. This eliminates the overhead task of remembering answers for the security questions.

For users who forget their user login, there is a way to retrieve the user login. When the user clicks on Trouble Signing In on the Sign In page and enters an email address, an email is sent to the user containing the user login.
