Default deployment

Default deployment is configured automatically by the product installer and allows clients to securely access the server through the top-level virtual directory. A TLS certificate must be installed for the provisioning virtual directory and the request must include a valid user name/password used to authenticate the requests. When deployed in this manner, the API is not exposed beneath the study URL and is, instead, exposed as a top-level directory and, therefore, no matching of the study name in the URL against the SOAP request occurs.
