Clearing and enlarging MS DTC logs
If you experienced an MS DTC log problem, for example if you received the following error message, you can reset the log size:
The MS DTC log file is full and cannot accept new log records.
To reset the log size:
- At a command prompt, use the pfadmin command to stop the InForm application.
- At a command prompt, stop the MS DTC service.
- To open the Microsoft Component Services, select Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Component Services.
- Expand My Computer.
- Right-click My Computer, and select Properties.
- Select the MS DTC tab.
- In the Capacity section, increase the capacity of the log file to 100 MB.
- Click Reset log.
- Click OK.
- Right-click My Computer, and select Start MS DTC.
- Close the Component Services.
- Click YES to save the settings.
