Description

Query Count

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of unique queries, regardless of status or type.

How calculated: Counts all queries that have ever been triggered, regardless of status and type.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Automatic

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries that the InForm application automatically generates.

How calculated: Counts all automatic queries that have ever been triggered, regardless of status. An automatic query is a query that the InForm application automatically generates when a rule in the study design detects a discrepancy in entered data.

This calculation does not include manual or conflict queries.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Manual

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries entered manually by InForm users.

How calculated: Counts all manual queries that have ever been triggered, regardless of status. A manual query is a query that an InForm user enters. This calculation does not include automatic or conflict queries.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Conflict

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of conflict queries that have ever been triggered.

How calculated: Counts all conflict queries that have ever been triggered, regardless of status. A conflict query is a query that the InForm application automatically generates when it detects a discrepancy between different copies of the same study when users synchronize them, or that is entered in the InForm Adapter query interface. This query type exists only when the InForm application is used with the CIS application.

This calculation does not include automatic or manual queries.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Candidate

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries with a current status of Candidate.

How calculated: Counts queries with a current status of Candidate, regardless of query type.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Open

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries with a current status of Open.

How calculated: Counts queries with a current status of Open, regardless of query type. Note that this total includes queries that have been reissued and are currently open.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Note: To see the total number of newly opened queries, create a calculation that subtracts the number of reissued queries from the number of open queries.

Reissued

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of currently open queries that were reissued.

How calculated: Counts all reissued queries that are currently open. A query is reissued if it has been answered and then re-opened.

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Answered

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries with a current status of Answered.

How calculated: Counts queries with a current status of Answered, regardless of query type.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Deleted

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries with a current status of Deleted.

How calculated: Counts queries with a current status of Deleted, regardless of query type.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Closed

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of queries with a current status of Closed.

How calculated: Counts queries with a current status of Closed, regardless of query type.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Status Changes

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of state changes for a query.

How calculated: Counts each status change for each triggered query. This count includes the initial entry of the query.
