Data from forms with itemsets
For forms that contain a non-repeating section and an itemset, an association exists between the itemset and non-repeating section. You can create Query Studio reports to show the relationship between the data in a non-repeating section and its associated itemsets. The report output contains columns with data from the non-repeating section, and columns with data from each itemset.
For more information, see Examples: Reporting on multi-instance forms and items.
Tips:
- You can only create reports with data from a non-repeating section and itemsets that exist on the same form.
- The form the non-repeating section and itemsets exist on can be repeating or non-repeating.
- There is no relationship between the itemsets on a form. Therefore, creating a report that only contains itemset data is not useful.
- During study versioning:
- If you created a report with an itemset and a non-repeating section, and either of them was deleted, the columns in the report are empty for subjects that did not have data in the deleted study object before it was deleted.
- An association is created between a non-repeating section and an itemset when:
- A non-repeating section is added to a form that contains an itemset.
- An itemset is added to a form that contains a non-repeating section.
