Query Cycle Times by Site

This report shows the minimum, maximum, and median number of days for queries to move from open to answered to closed. This report is grouped by site or sponsor. The report includes only sites that have queries.

Use this report to help you see whether a given site or sponsor is having issues resolving queries in a timely way.

Tip Tip: For the best performance, do not select any optional filters on the Selection Criteria page.

A combination line/bar graph appears on the first page of the Query Cycle Times by Site report, plotting the median time from query open to answered, and the minimum time answered to closed, by sites within countries.

Description

Country

Data type: String

Description: The country in which a site is located, as entered in the InForm Administration interface.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Site Mnemonic

Data type: String

Description: An abbreviation that identifies a site, as entered in the InForm Administration interface.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Subject Count

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of subjects who enrolled at the site.

How calculated: For each site, counts subjects who enrolled at the site, including subjects who are currently assigned other states.

Note: The Enrollment form, designed according to InForm specifications, must be completed for the subject.

UUID: PF_SC_COMPLETECTL

Data source: Status is determined by the value on the Enrollment form, which is stored in the Reporting and Analysis database. Status is set to 1 when the subject is enrolled.

Query Count

Data type: Numeric

Description: The total number of number of open, answered, and closed queries.

How calculated: This calculation counts all open, closed, and answered queries, based on your selection in the Query Type filter on the report prompt page. This count does not include queries that have never been opened (candidate queries or deleted candidate queries).

Data source: Derived and stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Open to Answered (Days): Min, Max, Median

Data type: Numeric

Description: Data on the number of days from when queries are opened to when they are answered. For each site, columns display:

  • Minimum—The fewest number of days for an opened query to be answered at the site.
  • Maximum—The greatest number of days for an opened query to be answered at the site.
  • Median—The median of the opened-to-answered range for all answered queries at the site.

How calculated: The calculation begins on the first day when the status of a query was set to Open and ends on the most recent day when the status of a query was set to Answered. This value is calculated in multiples of 24 (hours) and is rounded down to the nearest whole number.

For example, if a query is opened on day 1 at 10 AM and answered on day 3 at 9 AM, the Open to Answered value is 2 days.

Data source: Derived for the report; not stored in the Reporting and Analysis database.

Answered to Closed (Days): Min, Max, Median

Data type: Numeric

Description: Data on the number of days from when queries are answered to when they are closed. For each site, columns display:
