Overview of upgrading the database environment

When you are upgrading to the InForm 7.0.0.1 release from an environment that uses the Oracle 12c database software, you must upgrade to the Oracle 19c database software.

• For information on installing the Oracle database software, see your Oracle database documentation.
• For information on the database parameter settings, and guidance on installing and configuring the Oracle database software for the InForm environment, see the Installation Guide.

Note: Oracle does not support an in-place upgrade from the Oracle 12c database to the Oracle 19c database software.
