Post-installation steps

After installing the patch, perform the following steps.

  1. Stop the WebLogic Admin server and the HIM Managed server.
  2. If required, copy the config/xconfig.xml and codes/codes.xml files from the existing WebLogic 12c environment to the latest WebLogic installation. These files are located in the <WebLogic_Home>/user_projects/domains/<domain_name>/config/hrl/ directory.
  3. Configure the Log4j in the latest WebLogic installation. To configure the Log4j, see Configure Log4j in the HIM version 4.0.0 documentation.
  4. Start the WebLogic Admin server and the HIM Managed server.
