Process of creating a Program Definition and Instance.

This graphic shows the workflow for creating a Program: First, you need to create a Program definition and instance. Then you can define Table Descriptors and map them to Table instances. You can install the Program instance after you either define and map a Table Descriptor or define a Source Code object. You can then launch the IDE, develop the Program in the IDE, and upload the source code file from the IDE. You can define Parameters and Planned Outputs at any time. Parameters and Planned Outputs may not always be required. You must also define at least one Execution Setup.
