Manually Adding a Charge
Oracle Health Charge Services allows you to manually add charges to encounters as needed.
To manually add charges to an encounter:
- Access Oracle Health EHR, then select View Charges. Alternatively, select View Charges on the overview page for a worklist item. The Charges table is displayed.
- Select Add.
- In the Patient Name box, enter the name of a patient.
- In the FIN box, enter a financial number.
- Under Service Type, enter a value in the CPT Code box, the CDM Code box, or the Description box, and then select Search.
- In the search results, select the appropriate encounter.
- Select Continue.
- As needed, add or modify encounter information.
- As needed, next to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes or next to Charge Description Master (CDM) Codes, select the add button (+).
- Enter the required CPT or CDM information.
- Select Continue.
- Select Save.
