Manually Adding a Charge

Oracle Health Charge Services allows you to manually add charges to encounters as needed.

To manually add charges to an encounter:
  1. Access Oracle Health EHR, then select View Charges. Alternatively, select View Charges on the overview page for a worklist item. The Charges table is displayed.
  2. Select Add.
  3. In the Patient Name box, enter the name of a patient.
  4. In the FIN box, enter a financial number.
  5. Under Service Type, enter a value in the CPT Code box, the CDM Code box, or the Description box, and then select Search.
  6. In the search results, select the appropriate encounter.
  7. Select Continue.
  8. As needed, add or modify encounter information.
  9. As needed, next to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Codes or next to Charge Description Master (CDM) Codes, select the add button (+).
  10. Enter the required CPT or CDM information.
  11. Select Continue.
  12. Select Save.
