1 Guarantor Balances and Payment Integration Configuration Guide

Configuration is required for the Guarantor Balances and Payment Integration functionality in Oracle Health HER.

The Guarantor Balances and Payment Integration functionality is not intended to provide treatment or diagnostic recommendations.

Note:

Configuration for new settings is not required to configure the Guarantor Balances and Payment Integration functionality.
To configure the Guarantor Balances and Payment Integration functionality, complete one of the following actions based on what billing system your site is using:
  • Cerner Patient Accounting Customers: Configure the appropriate transaction aliases.
  • Oracle Health Patient Accounting Customers: Use the current Model Experience configuration for master financial transactions (MFTs).

The configuration above ensures that information is correctly sent from Oracle Health Patient Administration and Oracle Health Patient Portal to Cerner Patient Accounting and Oracle Health Patient Accounting.

    Note:

    Ensure that the following transaction aliases are located in the \\Transaction\Payment\Patient Payment folder:
    • GPCC - Patient Payment - Cr
    • [Customized alias name for your site] - Patient Payment - Cr
    • GPCASH - Patient Payment Cash - Cr
    • GCHECKPY - Patient Payment Check - Cr
  • Oracle Health Patient Accounting: The Master Transaction Maintenance Master File Configuration tab of the Configure Master Transaction Maintenance Master File page.

    Note:

    The current Model Experience configuration for Oracle Health Patient Accounting is to have the following MFTs defined:
