Developer Portal User Guide

Introduction

Developer Portal allows developers to register their SMART application so that they can access Oracle FHIR resources.

Register an Application

  1. Go to Register Oracle Health SMART App.
  2. Enter or select the following information as appropriate:
    • Company Name: Enter you company name.
    • App Type: Select the application type.
    • App Name: Enter the application name.
    • Description: Enter a description for the application.
    • FHIR Version: Currently, only R4 is supported.
    • SMART Version: Select the SMART App Launch specification that the application follows. The SMART version cannot be changed after the application is registered.
    • Confidential App: If the application privacy type is confidential, select the Confidential App checkbox. Confidential applications require authentication through a client secret or JWKS URL.
    • Redirect URL: Enter the URL that redirects users to your application. For example, https://example.com/path.
    • Launch URL: If your application uses a UI launch point, enter the URL that opens your application. For example, https://example.com/path.
    • Scopes: Select and add the scopes as needed.
    • (Optional) Support Email: Enter the email address for the technical support contact for the application.
    • (Optional) Support Phone: Enter the phone number for the technical support contact for the application.
    • (Optional) Support URL: Enter the URL for the technical support contact for the application.
  3. Review and agree to the terms of use.
  4. Select Submit.
