Check In Patient
Appointments can be located in Patient Tracker or the Resource View. You can filter by location, resource, patient name, or status.
Complete the following steps to begin the check-in process:
Check-In Email or Text
- The patient can complete check-in from their email or text sent 30 minutes before arrival.
- After this is completed, the appointment status is updated to Arrived.
- When you are ready to complete check-in, select the appointment and select Complete Check In.

Send Self Check-In
You can also choose to manually send a self check-in link to the patient or proxy on the day of their appointment. From Patient Tracker, select the patient's appointment and select Send Self Check-In. The patient receives an email or text by which they can select a link, verify their identity, and complete the check in.

If the patient is younger than the self-determination age and is not emancipated, their proxy receives the email or text.Note:

When you are ready to complete check-in, select the appointment and select Check In Patient.
- If the check in cannot be completed at this time, select Cancel on the patient information page.
- The appointment status is updated to Arrived.
- When ready to complete check-in, select the appointment and select Complete Check In.
