Update Guarantor

To update a guarantor for a patient, select View All in the Financial Responsibility section. If the patient is older than the patient self-determination age or if the patient is an emancipated minor, the patient will be added as a guarantor by the system.

Note:

• When adding a new patient, if the patient is older than the patient self-determination age or if the patient is an emancipated minor, the patient is added as a guarantor by the system.
• When you add a proxy to a patient, the proxy is added as a guarantor when you save if the patient is an unemancipated minor.
