The solution changes below are available with this release for Foundation and Infrastructure.

Highlights

The following list provides a high-level overview of the capabilities provided with this release:
  • Patient Portal users now select English, German, and Arabic from the sign-in screen and from the Account section in Settings.
  • Oracle Health Patient Portal sends enrollment invitation emails as SMS messages.
  • Sign-ins now include CAPTCHA and one-time passcodes as appropriate.

The Patient Portal now can be displayed in languages other than English (US). English (CAN), English (UK), German, and Arabic are available.

UI Impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Patient portal users now can select English, German, and Arabic from the sign-in screen and from the Account section in Settings.

Home Dashboard Navigation (HLG2-10859)

Component: Foundation and Infrastructure - Navigation

Schedule Appointment and Create Message buttons are available next to the Upcoming Appointment section and Unread Messages section on the Patient Portal home page. Also, a link is available to see all appointments and see all messages.

UI Impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Patient Portal users now can select Schedule Appointment or Create Message from the Patient Portal home page to request an appointment, self-schedule an appointment, or create a message.

Verify that when you select Schedule Appointment, you are taken to the appointment scheduling workflow.

Multifactor Authentication for Portal Members (HLG2-9771)

Component: Foundations and Infrastructure - Identity and Authorization

Oracle Health Patient Portal allows you to sign in to the portal using a username and password as the first factor and then a one-time passcode to meet multifactor authentication protocols.

UI Impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Patient Portal users can access the portal with a username and password followed by a one-time passcode. Users can disable one-time passcode upon subsequent sign-ins based on their preferences.

Enable multifactor authentication in Oracle Cloud Console.

Passwordless Authentication for Portal Members (HLG2-4194)

Oracle Health Patient Portal allows you to sign in to the portal using a username and one-time passcode sent to your email.

Patient Portal users can access the portal with a username and passcode.

New Menu Options (HLG2-4134)

The Ask Oracle menu now includes Renew Medication, Social History, Family History, and Document Center.

Patient Portal users now can access Renew Medication, Social History, Family History, and Document Center workflows from the Ask Oracle menu depending on which areas of the portal are active.

Self-Enrollment CAPTCHA (HLG2-2910)

Oracle Health Patient Portal uses CAPTCHA to complete self-enrollment.

Patient Portal users now must pass a CAPTCHA test in addition to providing their first name, last name, and date of birth when making a request to enroll in the Patient Portal.

Self-Enrollment (HLG2-1600)

Oracle Health Patient Portal allows new users to self-enroll.

New Patient Portal users who have a medical record within the organization and enter their first name, last name, date of birth, CAPTCHA, and email address at the sign-in screen can create a user account.
