Configure Existing Inbox Settings

A portion of existing settings for the Inbox functionality is recognized for Oracle Health EHR.

The following steps in Understand Messaging in Message Center are required:

• All steps in the Ambulatory Location Prompt section
• The MSG_MSGPH_DEFDOCID preference

  Note:

  Ensure that the MSG_MSGPH_DEFDOCID (Document Type) preference has a value and is not blank.
• The MSG_TOCSUMMARY_TEMP preference

The following steps in Understand Message Center Results are required:

• All steps in the CE_EVENT_ACTION Table, Purge Scripts, and Encounter and Event Filtering subsections of the Configure Results to Endorse section
• The MSG_DISPLAY_SAVED_RESULTS and MSG_ENABLE_SAVED_RESULTS preferences in the Result and Result FYI Preferences section
