Configure Existing PowerForms Settings

Configure existing settings for PowerForms functionality in Oracle Health EHR.

Note:

Before using any PowerForms that were initially created in a system other than Oracle Health EHR, ensure that all formatting is as expected and that all data elements are present. If you discover an issue with a form, contact your customer representative.

  • In the Label Control Association, select Question for the Label Role for element (DTA) associated labels or reference_role to associate help text

Note:

Label Control Associations settings are recognized and recommended to be configured.

If a label is not explicitly set in Millennium Platform, the system attempts to determine an appropriate label automatically based on the follow two factors: the proximity to the associated DTA and a high percentage match between the label name and the event code name. If an appropriate label cannot be determined algorithmically, the system defaults to using the event code's display name.

To check a current association in Oracle Health EHR, you can hover over the label to see the associated event code.

The system also supports the following types of help text and reference information:

  • Section Help Text: Uses any text following a section label that does not have a background color.
  • Sub Section Help Text: Uses the first label after a sub section, provided the label is not associated with any other element, that it is not black text, and that it does not have a background color.
  • Element Display Label: the PowerForms build has a Label Control Association with the reference_role, that text is used; if not, the system looks for a label within 10 pixels that matches at least 30 percent of the DTA name.
  • Element Reference Text: Uses content defined in the Reference Text Tool for the specific DTA. Blue Text on PowerForms must be built as reference text in the Reference Text tool to display to end users.
  • Copyright Text: Uses the final sequence of the section, ensuring it is not associated with any other element. When specifying copyright text, only the final label provided will be automatically recognized and associated as the official copyright statement. If multiple labels are used during configuration, only the last one will be acknowledged at this time.

These conventions are designed to streamline usability and maintain clarity for all users interacting with forms and their associated help resources.

If the automatically selected label or the default event code display is not appropriate, your system administrator can override this value by explicitly setting the label association in the PowerForms configuration.

Note:

Ensure that a textual rendition event code is configured for PowerForms to chart, view, and print.
