Configure Existing Results Settings

This topic provides information about configuring existing settings for the Results functionality.

In Oracle Health EHR, results, diagnostic reports, and vitals are organized based on the event set hierarchy (ESH) defined in Core Event Manager (CoreEventManager.exe). See the Prerequisites section of Oracle Health EHR Configuration Guide for more information about running the Oracle Health Value Set - Event Set Creation script at your site. After the script is complete, if event codes are listed in one of the following categories on the Results page and Vitals page, you can move those event codes to the appropriate event set:

  • Other Anatomic Pathology
  • Other Cardiology
  • Other Laboratory
  • Other Microbiology
  • Other Radiology
  • Other Vital Signs
  • Ungrouped

To move the event codes to an event set:

  1. In Core Event Manager, select the Registered checkbox to create a .CSV file containing event sets.
  2. Select OK to save the .CSV file.
  3. Expand ALLOCFSETS Event Set Hierarchy and select the ALL SPECIALTY SECTIONS event set.
  4. Go to the Oracle Health value set and expand either OHVS Laboratory Discrete Data/OHVS Diagnostic Reports or OHVS Vitals Signs.
  5. Right-click an event code listed in one of the following categories from your respective event set and select Cut/Copy Event Set.
    • Other Anatomic Pathology
    • Other Cardiology
    • Other Laboratory
    • Other Microbiology
    • Other Radiology
    • Other Vital Signs
    • Ungrouped
  6. Right-click in the OHVS Laboratory Discrete Data/OHVS Diagnostic Reports section or the OHVS Vitals Sign section and select Paste Event Set.
  7. Add all the listed event codes listed in the categories from Step 5 to a logical event set.
  8. Select Apply.
  9. Load Event Set Loader (OCF_Event_Set_Load.exe) to add the information to the event set metadata table. The updated grouping is displayed in Oracle Health EHR.

See Configure Clinical Events Event Sets.

A portion of existing settings for the Results functionality is recognized for Oracle Health EHR. The following privileges in All About Flowsheet are required:

  • View Results

    Note:

The View Results privilege was formerly named Result Inquiry.
  • Add Documentation

    Note:

The Add Documentation privilege combines and replaces the Add Documentation, Add Comments, Modify Documentation, and Unchart Documentation privileges.
