Create a Note

You can create a note for a patient's visit in Oracle Health EHR.

1. Select Add (+) in the Notes section or on the Documents page, and select Create Note.

   Note:

   See Patient Education for information on adding patient education materials from the Documents page.
2. (Optional) Select a specialty on the Select Specialty list.
3. (Optional) In the Search Templates box, enter the name of a template to search for a template.
4. Select a template from the All Templates list.

   Note:

   Templates display information from a patient's chart in a note, such as allergies, chief complaint, diagnosis, medications, measurements, orders, problems, and vital signs.
5. Add content to the note, review the spelling suggestions, and format the content as needed.
   The note is automatically saved in an In Progress status. The in-progress note can be signed later and is displayed in the Notes section, on the Documents page, and in the Needs Attention panel.

   Note:

   Notes generated from voice recordings in Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent are displayed in the Needs Attention panel.
