Introduction

The Needs Attention panel lists items that need to be addressed in Oracle Health EHR.

The Needs Attention panel is available throughout Oracle Health EHR.

• The Needs Attention panel contains a relevant list of items that you need to accomplish. When you are in a patient's chart, you will only see items relating to you and the displayed encounter.
• Each Needs Attention item contains a source attribution, often represented as a link to the source. Items in the Needs Attention panel that were generated with the assistance of AI are clearly indicated and are created in a Draft or Proposed state. Open the item from the expanded view to take action.
  • Only a limited number of items are displayed in the Needs Attention panel. The total number of items is displayed in the Needs Attention heading.
  • When more than five items are available in the Needs Attention, items will be grouped by category. A category summary item is displayed listing the category and number of items in the category. When you select a category summary item, the expanded list opens displaying items in that category.
  • Some Needs Attention items are time-sensitive. For such items, a status of Due Soon, Due Now, or Overdue is displayed to alert you to the completion timeframe.

    The amount of time that a Needs Attention item spends in a particular status varies by component.
