Open a Patient's Chart

You can access a patient's chart directly from your schedule.

To open a patient's chart directly from your schedule:

1. In the Agenda, Day, and Week views, access the appointment of the patient whose chart you want to open and select the patient's name.
   The patient's chart is opened in a new tab.

   Note:

   Depending on your system configuration, when you do not have an existing relationship to the patient or encounter, a dialog box is displayed for you to establish a relationship to the patient or encounter.
2. In the Month view, complete the following steps:
   1. Select the appointment of the patient whose chart you want to open. A dialog box is displayed with the patient's name and appointment details.
   2. In the dialog box, select the patient's name. The patient's chart is opened in a new tab.
3. To return to your schedule from the patient's chart, close the tab with the patient's chart or select the Schedule tab.
