View a Visit or Appointment

Visits and appointments are available in Oracle Health EHR.

After opening the patient chart, you can view information about visits and appointments and access the Visits page from the following locations:

  • The patient's information panel by selecting Change Visit.
  • The Visits section of the patient’s chart by selecting the heading.
    • The Visits section displays up to three future or active visits and appointments.
    • Appointments that are not associated with a visit are also displayed in the Visits section.

View Visit or Appointment Details

To view the details of a visit or appointment:
  1. Select a visit in the Visits section of the patient’s chart or in the Visits and Appointments tab on the Visits, Appointments, and Referrals page.
  2. To view visit details, select the Overview tab in the visit details panel.
  3. To view appointment details, select the Appointment.
  4. To view the appointment history of a visit, select History.
    Additional information about the visit and appointment is displayed in the visit details panel.

Note:

If multiple appointments are associated with a single visit, a link with the number of appointments is displayed in the Appointment column. Select the link to open the Visit Details panel and select the Appointment tab.
