  2. Select an order.

Component: Problems

When you associate an ongoing problem to an order, the problem is updated to This Visit and Ongoing.

When an ongoing problem is associated to an order, a message now is displayed to notify providers that the problem is updated to This Visit and Ongoing.

  1. In the Medications & Orders section of the patient's chart, select Add Order.
  2. On the New Order page, select a medication.
  3. In the Diagnoses section, select an ongoing problem. Verify that a message is displayed below the Associated Diagnosis box indicating that the problem is updated to This Visit and Ongoing.

Manage Outside Problem Records (EHRM-3934)

Prerequisites:
  1. Identify a patient with unreconciled outside problem records and open the Problems page for that patient.
  2. From the outside problem records message, select View to open the Manage Outside Records page.
Scenario 1: Reconcile an Outside Problem Record
  1. On the Manage Outside Records page, select Move next to a problem record on the Data to Review list to move it to the Local list.
  2. Select Sign. Verify that the problem record is reconciled.
Scenario 2: Reconcile Multiple Outside Problem Records
  1. On the Manage Outside Records page, select the checkboxes next to the problem records under Data to Review.
  2. At the top of the list, select Move to add the problem records to the Local list.
  3. Select Sign. Verify that the multiple selected problem records are reconciled.

Scenario 3: Discard an Outside Problem Record

  1. On the Manage Outside Records page, select Actions (...) next to a problem record, then select Discard. Verify that the problem is moved to the Discarded Records section.
  2. Select Sign. Verify that the problem record is discarded.
Scenario 4: Discard Multiple Outside Problem Records
  1. On the Manage Outside Records page, select the checkboxes next to the problem records on the Data to Review list.
  2. At the top of the list, select Discard to move the records to the Discarded Records section.
  3. Select Sign. Verify that the problem records are discarded.
Scenario 5: Edit an Outside Problem Record Before Moving It
  1. On the Manage Outside Records page, select Actions (...) next to a problem record on the Data to Review list, then select Move and Edit.
  2. In the problem details panel, edit the details and select Save. Verify that the problem is moved to the Local list.
  3. Select Sign. Verify that the problem record is moved to the Local list and reconciled.
