Manage Outside Records

You can manage a patient's outside records from the Medications and Orders page in Oracle Health EHR.

  1. On the Medications tab on the Medications and Orders page, select Outside Records. The Manage External Medications page opens, and a list of medications from the patient's outside records is displayed alongside a list of medications on the patient's local record.

    Note:

If the patient has not established a relationship with your organization, you may be asked to confirm that the patient has consented to share their outside record information with the organization.
  2. To add an outside record medication to the patient's local record, select the move button in the Data to Review section next to the medication you want to add, or select Actions (...) then select Add and Modify to modify the medication before adding it.
The medication is moved to the Local section.
  3. To discard an outside record medication, select Actions (...) next to the medication you want to discard, then select Discard.
The medication is moved to the Discarded Records section at the bottom of the page.
  4. To add or discard multiple outside records at the same time, select the checkbox next to the outside records you want to add or discard, then select Move or Discard.
  5. Once you are finished, select Sign.
Medications you moved to the Local section are added to the patient's local record, discarded medications are removed from the patient's outside records, and you are returned to the Medications and Orders page.
  6. To discard all pending actions without signing and return to the Medications and Orders page, select Discard above the Data to Review and Local sections.
