The content below lists the features and updates for the Oracle Hospitality Cruise Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) 23.3.0 release.

Tools and Technology Updates

eInvoice in Quick Billing

New feature for e-Invoice printing has been added to Guest Quick Billing screen, enabling users to generate invoice reports in PDF format for selected guest. The e-Invoice are stored in the database, and are transferred to Shoreside FMS for enhanced audit security and support for disembarked guest queries.

OHC Tools

The Database Password Change feature has been enhanced to support multiple Property Management System API Server and Property Management Border Control API Server URLs. A new capability has been added to the Change Password screen, enabling users to update the database password directly to configured API servers without requiring an actual database password or encryption key change. OPI Handling

Enhanced the credit card auto-settlement functionality with the ability to mark it as settled without requiring approval from the payment vendor if the total approved authorization amount meets or exceeds the settlement amount, streamlining the settlement process. A new parameter ‘Standalone authorization for auto settlement’ were introduced for this handling.

Others

Added support to include the new FEIG ID CPR30PRO RFID Reader to Peripherals. See Cruise Compatibility Matrix for version compatibility.

Property Management System

Guest Handling

Implemented Special Request functionality which allow users to view, create, edit, and delete the special request record from the reservation. Implemented the Print Boardcard feature, which enable users to print a guest’s boardcard directly from the Guest Handling module

Gateway Security

Gangway / Tender

The Gangway/Tender experience has been significantly improved with several key enhancements. These include:
  • A profile’s messages configuration page - enabling authorized users to view, create, edit, and set message delivery status, for a controlled, secure and efficient management.
  • The introduction of a 'Show until expired' feature, allowing profiles to receive message once daily until the message’s expiration date is reached.
  • Ability to send message to a profile during people movement.
  • An optimized display resolution on Oracle MICROS Handheld 500 - 412px, ensuring a clear and user-friendly interface for gangway and tender operations.
  • Added RFID reading support on Android devices using Chrome with WebNFC features for profile search.

Safety

Introduced the Import Safety Assignments feature in Safety module, allowing users with access to efficiently assign crew safety assignments by uploading pre-defined assignments from a CSV file.
