2 Features and Updates
Below are some of the important new functionality and enhancement highlights for this release:
Table 2-1 Functionality and Enhancements
Summary | Description | Product | Documentation |
---|---|---|---|
Copy Groups |
In OPERA Cloud Identity Management, you can copy existing custom application groups from one location to multiple other locations. This is particularly beneficial when implementing new application groups across multiple chains or properties or for copying one or multiple existing application groups from existing to newly provisioned chains or properties. Enterprise and chain administrators have access to this feature in the OPERA Cloud Identity Management portal Tools page. |
Non-Federated and Federated Customers |
|
Modify Grant Duration End Date |
In OPERA Cloud Identity Management, you can assign Oracle Support Access roles for a specified duration, which can range from 1 to 180 days. Unless modified, the default duration for Oracle Support grants is set to 7 days. The option to configure longer duration grants is particularly beneficial for establishing Oracle Support roles for extended Support engagements, such as those involving Consulting services. |
Non-Federated and Federated Customers |
|
Email Non-Mandatory |
In OPERA Cloud Identity Management, you can configure the domain to allow user creation without email requirement. This is particularly beneficial for environments where users do not have an email account, and it allows these users to be managed in OPERA Cloud Identity Management. For environments without email, communication related to user account activation and the forgot password process must be managed through manual communication with OPERA Cloud Identity Management. |
