Create Custom Group with Hyphen (-) in the Group Name
OPERA Cloud Identity Management (OCIM) supports hyphens in custom group names. This gives customer administrators more flexibility to create descriptive custom group names that align with their naming conventions.
OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
This enhancement makes group naming more flexible and easier to understand. Administrators can create clearer, more descriptive group names without being blocked by validation rules that previously restricted hyphens.
Enhanced Search Capabilities for Oracle Access Requests
The OPERA Cloud Identity Management Portal supports free text search in Oracle Access Requests. Administrators can search the Oracle Access Requests table using partial or full values for Request ID or email address, in addition to the existing filters, which is helpful in finding relevant access requests efficiently.
See Oracle® Hospitality OPERA Cloud Identity Management Administrator Guide and Oracle® Hospitality OPERA Cloud Identity Management Administrator Guide.
OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
This enhancement makes it easier to locate access requests without relying only on predefined filters. Administrators can quickly find a specific request by entering part of a request ID or email address, reducing time spent scanning or narrowing results manually. This improves request review efficiency and helps administrators respond to access requests related tasks more quickly.
Advanced Search Options in Assign Users Screen
The OPERA Cloud Identity Management portal supports searching by Middle Name in the Assign Users screen within Groups and Administrator Roles. Administrators can search by the Middle Name field along with the existing search fields, such as first name, last name, email address, work location, and job title, to refine search results when locating users for Group or Administrator role assignments.
OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
This enhancement allows administrators to filter and locate multiple users simultaneously using a broader set of fields (e.g., first name, last name, middle name, email address, work location), and to select multiple users at once for role assignments.
'User Status' Filter added to Group Membership and Administrator Role Membership Reports
The OPERA Cloud Identity Management portal includes a User Status filter for the Group Membership Report and Administrator Role Membership Report. Customer administrators can generate these reports for Active, Inactive, or All users, allowing the exported results to reflect only the selected user status.
See Oracle® Hospitality OPERA Cloud Identity Management Administrator Guide and Oracle® Hospitality OPERA Cloud Identity Management Administrator Guide.
OPERATIONAL BENEFITS
This enhancement helps administrators to review membership data more efficiently by separating active and inactive users in group and administrator role membership reports. Administrators can quickly identify inactive users who still have group memberships or administrator role assignments and take follow-up actions, such as revoking access where appropriate. This improves access review, reduces manual filtering after export, and supports cleaner identity administration.
IMPACT OR OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
The new filter applies to the Group Membership Report and Administrator Role Membership Report in OPERA Cloud Identity Management Portal. Report results are limited to users matching the selected User Status filter. If no users match the selected status for a selected group or role, the report returns an empty result set with a clear no results message.
