Policy Information

This option offers the configuration of your property´s general policy information. From the Content main menu, select Policies and then select Policy Information or select the tab from any of the other policy menu options.

Note:

Your Policy Information appears right away when you select the menu option. It is split into three sections: Check-in Policy, Check-Out Policy, and Guest Policy. In addition, each of the other policy menu options are accessible on tabs from every police menu option.

Managing Policy Information

Managing your Policy Information lets you view, define, and update if appropriate permissions are given.

Updating Policy Information: Check-in Policy

  • Check-In Time: Enter the check-in time. This field is required.

  • Check-In End Time: Enter the check-in end time.

  • Minimum Check-In Age: Enter the minimum age to check in a guest.

  • Late Arrival Guarantee: Select whether a late arrival is guaranteed.

  • Check-In Instruction: Enter the check-in instruction.

  • Late Arrival Description: Enter the late arrival description.

  • Alternate Check-In Location: Enter if there are any other alternative check-in locations in your property, for example, a kiosk.

  • Express Check-In: Enter the express check-in details. This field allows a maximum of 64 characters.

Updating Policy Information: Check-out Policy

  • Check-Out Time: Enter the check-out time. This field is required.

  • Early Check-Out Description: Enter the description. This field allows a maximum of 310 characters.

  • Early Check-Out Charges Type: Select an early check-out charges type used for early check-out requests.

  • Early Check-Out Charges: Enter the early check-out charge for early check-out requests. The currency is the configured currency of your property. This field is required if an early check-out charges Type is selected.

  • Late Check-Out Description: Enter the late check-out description policy. This field allows a maximum number of characters.

  • Express Check-Out: Enter the express check-out details of the property. This field allows a maximum of 64 characters.

Updating Policy Information: Guest Policy

  • Property Suitable for Children: Select whether your property is suitable for children.

  • Kids Stay Free: Select whether your property allows kids to stay for free/no-cost.

  • Stay Free Cut Off Age: Enter a cut off age of kids/guests that are allowed to stay in your property for free/no-cost.

  • Stay Free Child Per Adult: Enter the age of each child per adult allowed to stay in your property for free/no-cost.

  • Max. Child Age: Enter the maximum age of the child allowed in your property.

  • Min. Guest Age: Enter the minimum age of the guest staying in your property.

  • Accepted Guest Type: Select one or both guest types.

  • Child Policy Description: Enter the child policy description. This field allows a maximum of 310 characters.

Click Update to save your edits on the record.
