1 Introduction

OPERA Cloud Distribution enables hotels to communicate room availability, rates, and inventory (ARI) directly to high value Online Travel Agents (OTA) as well as Channel Manager/Switches. The cloud-native distribution platform provides the following feature sets:

Cluster and Property Access

• Access to clusters and single properties.

• View messages to and from an external System (OPERA Xchange Interface (OXI)) for all properties.

• Manage and configure Central Distribution Templates for Global Distribution System (GDS) channels across all properties.

Property and Channel Activation

• Set up basic property information and enable property management system (PMS) connection.

• Manage property reservation and property channel settings.

• Import/create room types, import inventory, and manage rate plans and restrictions from OPERA Cloud through the OPERA Xchange Interface (OXI).

• Easily map rooms and rates to subscribed channels.

Property Day-to-Day Operations

• Control plans to monitor data flowing across all channels.

• Ad-hoc publication of ARI (availability, rate, and inventory) data to the channels.

• Ad-hoc mapping of rooms and rate plans across channels.

• Viewing lists of reservations created by channels.
