Publish

The Channel Publications screen enables you to publish and view ARI publications to the channel.

From the Channels main menu, select Publish. By default, you can view all records.

Managing Channel Publications

Use the following to filter:
  • Channel Code: Select one or multiple channel codes.

  • Request Status: Select one or multiple request status.

  • Only the records matching all the selected criteria appear. Delete the entries in your filter to get the default display.

Requesting New Publications

Select the New Publication button at the top of the screen or, if no record exists yet or your filter shows no search results, select the New Publication button in the middle of the screen.
  • Begin Date: Enter the start date of the publication. This field is required.

  • End Date: Enter the end date of the publication. This field is required.

  • Number of Days: This field is automatically filled based on your date range but can be modified, and the end date updates automatically.

  • Channel: Select one or multiple channels. This field is required. Only channels with Active, Test, and Maintenance status are available for selection.

  • Message Type: Select one or multiple message types. This field is required.

  • Select all room types mapped to the channel: Select this check box to include all room types. By default, all room types appear in the Room Types field below.

  • Room Types: Select one or multiple Room Types you want to process the publication for. This field is required.

  • Select all rate plans mapped to the channel: Select this check box to include all rate plans. By default, all rate plans appear in the field below.

  • Rate Plans: Select one or multiple Rate Plans you want to process the publication for. The field is required when the message type is Rate Schedules or Restrictions.

Click Publish to request the publication.

Viewing Channel Publications
  • Channel: Shows the channel code.

  • Message Type: Shows the type of the channel publication.

  • Status: Shows the publication status.

  • Room Type: Shows the property room types associated with the publication.

  • Rate Plans: Shows the property rate plans associated with the publication.

  • Created Date: Shows the date and time of the publication request.

  • Begin Date: Shows the publication begin date.

  • End Date: Shows the publication end date.

  • Message: An option to expand and view the messages that have failed. A warning status appears. Expand the message to display the detailed message.

Click the Refresh icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to refresh your data.
