Restaurants

The Restaurants option offers the configuration of all restaurants available in your property.

From the Content main menu, select Facilities and then select Restaurants.

Managing Restaurants

Managing Restaurants shows all restaurants and lets you view, create, edit, and delete records if appropriate permissions are given.

Note:

In addition to having the appropriate permissions, you must select at least one record to edit or delete a record. The create option is enabled only when no records are selected.

Updating the Number of Restaurants

  • Total Number of Restaurants: Enter the total number of restaurants available at the property. In case you have more restaurants than configured, this number is used as the number of existing restaurants.

Click Update at the top of the screen to save your changes.

Creating and Editing Restaurants

  • Name: Enter the name of the restaurant. This field is required.

  • Display Sequence: Add the sequence number. By default, the restaurants appear by the sequences in the list.

  • Max. Seating Capacity: Enter the maximum seating capacity.

  • Description: Enter a more detailed description. This field allows a maximum of 250 characters.

  • Offers: Select one or more meal types offered by the restaurant.

  • Service Type: Select the service type.

  • Onsite: Select this check box if the restaurant is on site.

  • Breakfast Type: Select the breakfast type available in the restaurant. This field is only available if the field Offers includes breakfast.

  • Cuisine Type: Select the cuisine type.

  • Distance: Enter the distance of the restaurant from the property if the restaurant is off site. This field is only available when the restaurant is off site.

  • Restaurant Code: Select the restaurant code.

  • Phone: Enter the phone number of the restaurant.

  • Address: Enter the address of the restaurant. This field is only available when the restaurant is off site.

  • Email Address: Enter the email address of the restaurant.

  • City: Enter the city of the restaurant. This field is only available when the restaurant is off site.

  • Website: Enter the website of the restaurant.

  • Country: Select the country of the restaurant. This field is only available when the restaurant is off site.

  • Attire: Enter the attire details of the restaurant.

  • Direction: Select the direction. This field is only available when the restaurant is off site.

  • Days: Select the operational days of the restaurant. Select Custom to define certain days, for example, restaurant is open only on Monday and Thursday.

  • Reservation Required: Select whether your restaurant requires a reservation. • Dietary Option: Select one or multiple dietary options available in the restaurant.

  • Ambience: Select one or multiple ambience available in the Restaurant.

  • Opening Time: Enter the opening time.

  • Closing Time: Enter the closing time.

Click Submit and then select either Submit to create the record or Submit and Create Another to continue creating records. Click Update to save your edits on existing records.

Deleting a Restaurant

Select a Restaurant or click the check box on top to select all restaurants and click the Delete icon in the tool bar. A message provides you with the option to Keep or Delete the record.
